Rhianna Pierson is a British figurative painter born in London in 2002. She currently lives and works in St Albans. 

Pierson always took an interest in the human experience of nostalgia, emotion and relationships, and naturally these themes translated into her artworks. Her oil paintings feature a delicate synthesis of abstraction and figuration, the figures emerging within pools of intense colour. Her inspiration arises from her loved ones and their collective memories, drawing compositions from childhood photos that spark ideas and emotions. She then transforms them into the dreamlike ephemeral moment as we remember it, visually representing the atmosphere of the time. Unusual details amongst gestural shocks of colour highlight the unpredictability of memory.

Pierson exhibited five paintings at the XV Florence Biennale in October 2025. She staged her work multiple times in Surface Gallery, Nottingham, curating group shows. She presented a solo show in 2024 in Twitchel Gallery, Nottingham, and exhibited in The Other Art Fair 2024 in London with the Visual Artists Association. Her work is featured on Cista Arts as part of a group online exhibition, and she exhibited at Circular Art Space, Bristol, in September 2026.
